For everyone
Accessibility statement
Abide is run by M3CA LTD. We want everyone to be able to read Scripture, pray and find help here, whatever their sight, hearing, movement, or way of thinking and learning. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you can do on Abide
- Use the whole site with a keyboard, including a "Skip to main content" link.
- Use a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or NVDA. Images have text descriptions and buttons have names.
- Zoom text up to 200% and use a phone, tablet or computer in any orientation.
- Change the Scripture text size and turn off motion in My Walk settings, and read light text on a dark background with strong contrast.
- Reduce motion: if your device asks for less animation, Abide respects it.
- Play Battle of Faith in a simple 2D mode, with no timers you can lose to.
Compliance status
Abide is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We checked it ourselves with automated tools and manual keyboard and phone testing. It has not yet had an independent audit.
Known limits
- The 3D Battle adventure is visual and may be hard to use with a screen reader. The 2D version and the Bible reader give the same Scripture.
- Uploaded sermon videos may not have captions. We ask hosts to add them where they can.
- Church finder maps and YouTube or Vimeo videos come from other services we do not control.
- The AI Guide's replies appear as they are written, which some screen readers may announce in parts.
