Day 8 of 14

Restoring prayer

Jesus gave us a simple pattern for prayer. You do not need fine words. Begin with 'Our Father' and talk to him as a child talks to a loving parent.

How would you describe your prayer life right now?

Pray

Our Father in heaven, teach me to pray again.

Today's step

Pray the Lord's Prayer slowly, pausing on each line.

These reflections help you study Scripture. They are not a substitute for reading in context or for pastoral care.
