Day 5 of 14

Forgiven and clean

God's promise is clear. When we confess, he is faithful and just to forgive. Faithful, because he keeps his word. Just, because Jesus has paid the debt in full.

Do you believe you are forgiven? What makes it hard?

Pray

Jesus, thank you for paying for my sin. I receive your forgiveness.

Today's step

Read the verse again and replace 'us' with your own name.

These reflections help you study Scripture. They are not a substitute for reading in context or for pastoral care.
