Day 1 of 14

Come back without hiding

The father saw his son while he was still a long way off, and ran. You do not have to clean yourself up before you return. God is already looking down the road for you.

What has kept you from coming back to God?

Pray

Father, I have been far away. Thank you that you are watching for me. I am coming home.

Today's step

Find a quiet five minutes today and simply tell God you are here.

These reflections help you study Scripture. They are not a substitute for reading in context or for pastoral care.
